Combi USA has recalled over 67,000 child car seats because federal tests have shown that the seats may separated from their bases during a front end collision. Combi has said that it is safe to use the Combi Centre and Combi Shuttle models without their base, and that there have been no reports of injuries received.
If you have one of these car seats, then you may obtain a retrofit kit by calling Combi at 1-800-543-7734 or by requesting one via the Combi website. Please be aware that the kits may take up to 8 weeks to get to you.
